(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's appeal against the order of suspension is pending consideration before the Commissioner, Raipur, whereas, his application for stay has been rejected vide its impugned order dated 23.09.2016 and, therefore, direction may be issued to the said authority to decide the same expeditiously.

(3) After hearing learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the appellate authority is directed to do well and take a decision on the pending appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
