1. Applicant namely S. Krishna and Respondent No.2/Complainant Kameshwar Tiwari are present today in National Lok Adalat. Both are identified by Shri Gurudev I. Sharan, Advocate through their respective Aadhar cards.
2. According to the docket, both the parties have settled their dispute and compensation amount of Rs.25,000/- has already been paid to the Respondent No.2/Complainant Kameshwar Tiwari by the accused person
and, therefore, Complainant does not want to press the instant revision.
3. Since the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act is compoundable as per Section 147 of the said Act and both the parties have settled their dispute, permission is granted for compounding the offence in question.
4. Resultantly, the applicant is acquitted of the charge under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The instant revision accordingly stands disposed of.
