1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not processing and finalizing the release of pension to the petitioner from the year, 2018 onwards.

2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is retired from service w.e.f. 31.01.2018 and he has been paid pensionary benefits till November, 2018, however, thereafter without any instructions/intimation/ notice or any order the pension has been stopped.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that perhaps because of certain discrepancy which was detected in the pension account of the petitioner, the same has been stopped as of now.

Be that as it may, considering the fact that admittedly the petitioner stands retired from January, 2018 and further undisputed fact being that the petitioner was initially paid pension up till November, 2018, which prima facie shows that the petitioner is entitled for pension. Thereafter, there has

-2been no order as such of either stopping of pension of the petitioner or any such order passed by the respondent authorities. Accordingly, the respondents No.2 to 4 are directed to immediately process the claim of the petitioner so far as grant of pension is concerned. If the petitioner is found entitled for the same, let the entire pension payable to the petitioner be released forthwith including arrears of pension from December, 2018 onwards till date. The respondents shall also take all necessary steps to ensure that petitioner is paid pension regularly without any unnecessary hindrances.
