1. This petition under Article 227 Constitution of India has been brought only for issuance of direction to the learned Family Court.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has filed a divorce petition under Section 13(1A) of Hindu Marriage Act on 07.04.2017, which is pending since long and no sufficient progress has come up so far, therefore, it is prayed that the learned Family Court may be directed to expedite the proceeding in the case and dispose off the same within a time frame.

3. After considering on the submissions, the petition is disposed off at the

-2motion stage and looking to the length of pendency of the petition, the learned Family Court is directed to take up the proceeding in the case H.M.A. No.242 of 2017 and dispose it off at the earliest preferably within a period of 06 months.
