1. The present writ petition has been filed only on the apprehension of the petitioners that the respondent authorities may initiate promotion process for filling up of the post of Senior Food Security Officer only on the basis of seniority ignoring the reservation policy applicable in the State.
2. At the outset, this court is of the opinion that the entire writ petition is based on apprehension with no specific cause of action till date having arisen. Moreover, the apprehension of the petitioners is also pursuant to a direction given by this court in WPS No.4011 of 2021 which was primarily for holding of DPC which was not convened for a considerable period of time, which in other word means that the respondents have to take appropriate steps for holding DPC strictly in accordance with rules
-2governing the field, as such, no strong case for grant of any relief has been made out by the petitioner at this juncture.
3. Accordingly, reserving the right of the petitioners to approach the court at a later stage, if occasion so arises, the writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge inder
