1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that though the petitioner has been discharging his duties as a Medical Specialist and the gradation list published in the Department also shows that the petitioner is placed as Medical Specialist Service Cadre yet he has not been granted the pay scale and other benefits attached to the

post of Medical Specialist. That he is being paid the pay scale and other benefits that are paid to a Medical Officer. According to the petitioner, he has also made representation in this regard to the respondents but till date it has not been resolved.

2. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that let the matter be scrutinized by the respondent no.1. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to make a suitable representation to the respondent no.1 and the respondent no.1 shall ensure that the representation as regards his claim for pay scale and other benefits attached to the post of Medical Specialist is decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner.
