This petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of order dated 11.04.2018 passed by this Court in WPS No.2939 of 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as a necessary corollary to the order passed by this Court, the arrears should have also been paid after granting revised pay scale.

I find that the respondent has revised pay scale of the petitioner after the order passed by this Court on 11.04.2018. It appears that there was no specific direction in the order to pay arrears of salary. Considering that the revised pay scale has now been paid but arrears of salary has not been paid particularly because this was not specifically mentioned in the order, it does not appear to be a case of willful disobedience. The contempt petition is accordingly dismissed. The petitioner, if so advised, may take remedy of clarification of the earlier order.
