1. Heard.

2. The present petition is filed against the termination order dated 01.10.2020 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.5 Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Nawagarh, District Janjgir-Champa (C.G.).

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that before passing of the order, the petitioner has not been given the opportunity of hearing, therefore, the order of termination may be set aside.

4. As per Rule 3 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat (Appeal & Revision) Rules, 1995, against the order of the Janpad Panchayat, the appeal would lie before the Collector. Therefore, considering the fact that the statutory alternative remedy is available, I am not inclined to invoke the jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
