Mr. Vipin Tiwari, appearing for the respondent submits that the department has since taken a decision on the claim of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment vide order dated 25.06.2021 and his claim for compassionate appointment has been rejected.

Respondents have also brought the said order dated 25.06.2021 on record by way of reply of Annexure R-1.

Considering the reply and documents enclosed along with this Court, the order passed by this Court stands purged. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands disposed of.

The petitioner, if at all if he is aggrieved of the decision of the respondents, he would be at liberty to challenge the same by way of fresh petition.
