1. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant case is that in spite of the fact that he has retired from service on the post of Health Officer on 30.11.2018 till date his retiral dues has not been released, neither has he been paid any pension.

-22. According to the petitioner he stood retired from the office of respondent No. 3 and that it is the office of respondent No.3 and office of respondent No. 2 who would be responsible for early release of retiral dues.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent No. 2 & 3 to ensure that the case of the petitioner is processed at the earliest so far as release of his retiral dues and pension are concerned. Let payment part be finalized within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. It is made clear, in case, if the amount is not released within the said period of four months time and the delay is caused for no fault of the petitioner, the entire retiral dues shall carry an interest at the rate of 10% per annum which the government would be at liberty to be recovered from the officer concerned.
