Learned Counsel for Petitioners at the outset submits that the Petitioners may be permitted to make a representation to Respondents No.2 to 5 for ventilating their grievances which arises on account of a decision of Respondents in merging the 100 Seater Girls Hostel in Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential School.

The limited prayer of Petitioners is not opposed by learned Panel Lawyer appearing for Respondents. However, learned Panel Lawyer submits that so far as Petitioner No.1 is concerned she is otherwise a substantive post holder, i.e., Lecturer, under the Respondents and as regards Petitioners No.2 to 5 they were temporary employees engaged at the 100 Seater Girls Hostel.

Given the said limited relief that Petitioners seek for, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the Petitioners, if they so want, to move a representation within a period of 10 days before Respondents No.2 to 5 who in turn are directed to decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, in terms of the policy governing the field.
