1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition seems to non finalization of the claim for medical reimbursement/medical bills which has not been processed since, 2017. Further claim of the petitioner is also in respect of non settlement of TA bills which the petitioner has raised on account of frequent transfer that the petitioner was subjected to.

2. Learned counsel for the State submits that it appears that the bills have not been cleared as it has not been received proper approval from the competent authority.

-23. The petitioner in the instant case stands retired in December, 2020 and his medical bills are pending since 2017 and TA Bills are for various period upon the petitioner being transferred.

Be that as it may, considering the fact that the petitioner is a senior citizen and also is a retired employee of the respondents, the respondents No.2 to 5 are directed to immediately process the claim of the petitioner both in respect of Medical Bills that he has raised and also in respect of TA Bills at the earliest and the same shall be settled within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the petitioner is found eligible, the entire payment be released to him forthwith and if the petitioner is found ineligible then appropriate orders by giving reasons be communicated to the petitioner within the same stipulated period of 60 days.
