1. The applicants have preferred this application for grant of bail as they are arrested in connection with Crime No.138/2020 registered in Police Station Jashpur, District Jashpur for offence under Section 307 of the IPC and Section 4, 6 & 10 of the Chhattisgarh Krishak Pashu Parirakshan Adhiniyam, 2004.

2. While the applicants were allegedly transporting cattle from Chhattisgarh to Jharkhand in a pick up four wheeler and were stopped at the border, they tried to run over the vehicle on the policemen who

were intercepting them and in the process caused damage to the motorcycle of the policeman.

3. Admittedly, no injury has been caused to any person. The applicants are in jail since 11.9.2020 and only 6 number of cows and 6 Ox have been recovered from their possession.

4. Considering the length of pre-trial detention and for the fact that no injury has been caused to the policeman, I am inclined to release the applicants on bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
