1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not granting time scale pay to the petitioner on completion of 8 years and 16 years of service.

2. According to the petitioner, the persons who were appointed along with the petitioner have already been granted the said benefit vide order Annexure P/3 dated 26.07.2014.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the present writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondents No. 1 & 2 to immediately process the case of the petitioner and subject to verification of facts and the entitlement of the petitioner, appropriate steps be taken so far as the grievance of the petitioner relating to nongranting of time scale pay, within an outer limit of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
