Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner candidature was denied who wanted to contest election of Sarpanch at Village Kharhatta, Block Pandariya, District Kabirdham. She submits that against summary rejection of the nomination form of the petitioner and election of Respondent No. 4 as unopposed Sarpanch, petitioner preferred election petition under Section 122 of the C.G. Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam.
The same was filled in the month of March, 2020 but till date it is not decided, therefore she prays that Respondent No. 3 may be directed to decide the election petition preferred by the petitioner within a stipulated time.

Considering the fact that the proceeding could not take place because of lock down, closure and non working of the institutions, however at present since the working has resumed, it is directed that Respondent No. 3 shall decide the election petition filed by the petitioner within a period of 1 year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
