(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner No.1 has been transferred from the office of Directorate (Industries & Commerce), Raipur to District Industries & Commerce
Centre, Korba vide order dated 28.07.2016 whereas, his wife i.e. petitioner No.2 namely Smt. Geeta Markam is also a government servant and working at Raipur. He further submits that by the impugned order dated 06.10.2016 (Annexure P1), the petitioner No.1 directed to vacate the quarter bearing No.H-184, Kashiram Nagar, Raipur against which, he has made an application for allotment of the said quarter being used by them in the name of his wife i.e. petitioner No.2, which has not been considered and decided by respondent No.1 and therefore, a direction may be issued to the said authority to decide the same, expeditiously.
(3) The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. (4) Be that as it may, respondent No.1 is directed to consider and take a decision on the pending representation of the petitioners in accordance with Rule 19(1)(2) of Shaskiya Avas Avantan Niyam, 2000 preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
(5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
