Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in view of the express provisions contained under Section 320(2) of Cr.P.C., wherein, only specified offences can be compounded and no other ones and as also in view of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in the matter of State of Madhya Pradesh Versus Madanlal, (2015) 7 SCC 681, no case for quashing the charges or permitting compounding of the offence is made out as the petitioner is facing charges under Section 354 of IPC.
