1. The limited prayer that the petitioner has prayed for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent to consider and decide the representation in-respect-of the claim for employment against a land belonging to the petitioner which was acquired for the respondent for laying of railway track.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of employment against his land which was acquired for the purpose of construction of railway track

in accordance with the policy prevalent at that relevant point of time. Let appropriate decision be taken by the respondent within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
