By order dated 25.07.2018 passed in WA No.185/2018, this Court allowed the applicants to complete the departmental proceedings against the respondent Krishna Kumar Sahu within a period of 4 months, failing which it would mean that the charge sheet issued against him on 11.09.2006 and the additional charge sheet issued on 22.03.2007 would be deemed to be quashed. 2.

This application seeking extension of time to complete the departmental proceedings has been filed on 16.07.2019. On the

said date, the result of non compliance of the time allowed by this Court for completion of departmental proceedings has already settled and become operative against the applicants. Now, the clock cannot be set back after one year to revive the departmental proceedings again. Had the applicants preferred the present application for extension of time before expiry of period of 4 months, as directed by this Court, it would have been a different situation, but as on date there can be no extension of time to revive the departmental proceedings, which already stand quashed under the orders of this Court.
