(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's statutory review filed under Rule 29 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966 before the respondent No.1/State Government, which has not been considered and decided by the respondent authorities till now and therefore, direction may be issued to the respondent No.1 to decide the same expeditiously.

(3) The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. (4) In view of above, respondent No.1 i.e. State Government is directed to consider and decide the statutory review filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned preferably within a period of three months, from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. (5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
