1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is in-respect of non-grant of non-compoundable increment payable to the petitioner w.e.f. 23.10.2009. The claim of the petitioner is on the additional qualification of Ph.D. that the petitioner has obtained while in service. The petitioner as of now prays that the writ petition be disposed of directing the respondents to consider and decide the representation inrespect-of the grievances at the earliest.

2. To the limited extent, the State Counsel does not oppose. However, she submits that the claim of the petitioner would be decided strictly in accordance with the guidelines and the clarification issued by the AICTE from time to time in this regard.

3. Given the said facts, the present writ petition as of now is disposed of directing the respondents No. 1 & 2 to take an appropriate decision on the representation for grant of three non-compounded increment payable to the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
