Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the default occurred in the filing of the present writ petition has already been removed by the Petitioner. 2.
With the consent of the parties, heard the matter finally at admission stage. 3.
The relief sought for by the Petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is for an appropriate direction to the Respondents to consider his case for regularization. According to the Petitioner, he was initially appointed as a Driver on daily wages on 31.8.1987 and since then he has been continuously discharging the duties of a Driver under Respondent No.2.

Counsel for the Petitioner prays that as per the policy of the State Government dated 5.3.2008, the claim of the Petitioner ought to have been considered by the Respondents for regularization. Further contention of the Petitioner is that he fulfills the requisite conditions stipulated in the said policy of 5.3.2008.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, let Respondents No. 1 and 2 take appropriate decision in the case of the Petitioner so far as his claim for regularization is concerned. While taking a decision the respondent authorities would get in mind the policy of the State Government dated 5.3.2008. 6.
Let appropriate decision be taken by the Respondents in this regard within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7.
