The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment has till date not been decided by the respondents.

The facts of the case is that the petitioner's husband was working as a Shiksha Karmi Grade-III under the respondents No. 4 to 6 and who died in harness on 20.03.2017. According to the petitioner, she had immediately

-2thereafter raised a claim for compassionate appointment on 18.04.2017 and 06.11.2017, but till date it has not been finalized by the authorities. 3.

At this juncture, the counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to accept any post that the Department would be providing including a class-IV post, in case if the Department finds that the petitioner does not have qualification for appointment as a Shiksha Karmi. 4.

Given the said undertaking by the petitioner, let the respondent No.4 take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for appointment under the compassionate appointment scheme at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
