1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is nonconsideration of the application for grant of compassionate appointment moved by the petitioner.

2. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the father of the petitioner was an Upper Division Teacher at the Government Middle School, Barpali, who died in harness on 01.04.2019. According to the

-2counsel for the petitioner, thereafter the petitioner has moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment to the respondent no. 6 who inturn had forwarded the same to the respondent no. 5. In between the respondent no. 3 also is said to have forwarded the case of the petitioner to the respondent no. 1 for taking an appropriate decision and approval enabling him (petitioner) to grant compassionate appointment vide his letter dated 19.06.2020. However, thereafter there does not seem to have any further development.

3. Ms. Akansha Jain, Dy. Govt. Advocate submits that let the writ petition be disposed off with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the application of the petitioner at the earliest in-accordance-with scheme and regulation governing the field.

4. Given the said submission made by the State counsel, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed off, directing the respondent no. 1 and 2 to ensure that the decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment is considered and decided at the earliest, preferably within a period of ninety days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
