(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's mother died in harness on 06.02.2013 while was working as Upper Division Teacher at Govt. Middle School, Rahangi, Block Bilha, District Bilaspur. The petitioner has made an application for appointment on compassionate ground which is pending consideration before the respondents No.2 & 3 and as the same has not been considered and decided till this date in accordance with law

and, therefore, direction may be issued to the respondents No.2 & 3 to decide the same expeditiously.

(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(4) Be that as it may, respondents No. 2 & 3 are directed to consider and pass an appropriate order on application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.

(6) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authorities concerned are free to decide the application of the petitioner in accordance with law. Sd/- (Sanjay K. Agrawal) Judge L/-
