1. The petitioner in the present writ petition has prayed for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider his claim for regular pay scale from the first date of appointment i.e. from 04.05.1981.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that an identically situated person
namely Ram Narayan Dewangan in the same department had approached this Court vide WPS No. 4732/2018 which stood disposed of on 24.07.2018. In compliance of the said order dated 24.07.2018, Ram Narayan Dewangan has been granted the benefit of regular pay scale from the date of his initial appointment and therefore, the petitioner may also be paid the same benefit on the ground of parity.
3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, let respondents 2 & 3 consider the case of the petitioner for grant of regular pay scale as has been granted to similarly placed person like Ram Narayan Dewangan in the department after due verification whether he is similarly placed or not. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
