1. The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents for issuance of list of eligible and ineligible candidates.

2. During the course of hearing, Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for all the respondents submits that as regards the relief sought for by the petitioners, the concern of the petitioners should be the information in-respect-of the candidates whose names have been found place in the select list qua the Districts/Division where the petitioners had applied.

3. The Counsel for the State further submits that subject to the petitioners making an appropriate application before the concerned authorities confining their claim to the candidates whose names have been reflected in the select list in respect of those districts/divisions where the petitioners have also applied for that very post, that information would be provided to them in accordance with the rules governing the field.

4. Given the said submission by the counsel for the State, the grievance of the petitioners would get redressed. Accordingly, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition at this juncture permitting the petitioners to approach the concerned authorities under the respondents seeking for necessary informations in-respect-of those candidates whose names are found place in the select list and upon such application being made, the authorities would take appropriate decision at the earliest.
