(1) Counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is working on the post of Sub-Engineer in the department of Rural Engineering Services but he has not been paid salary from the period from 1.6.2016 to 1.11.2016 for which he may be permitted to make representation before the Commissioner (Revenue) and same may be directed to be decided expeditiously. (2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(3) Be that as it may, if the petitioner prefers representation before the Commissioner (Revenue) for redressal of his grievances within two weeks from today, it is expected to be considered & decided by the authority concerned expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(4) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petitions stand finally disposed of.

(5) This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned is free to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
