1. Ramesh Kumar Sahu, S/o Shri Mehataru Ram Sahu, Aged About 40 Years, Resident Of Village And P.O. Karamtara, Tahsil Dongargaon, District-Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh ---- Petitioner

Versus

1. State Of Chhattisgarh Through Secretary, Department Of Veterinary / Agriculture Services, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, New Raipur, District Raipur Chhattisgarh

2. Director, Veterinary Services, Raipur Chhattisgarh

3. Deputy Director, Veterinary Services, Rajnandgaon Chhattisgarh ---Respondents For Petitioner :

Mr. S.B. Pandey, Advocate For State :

Mr. Aayaz Naved, Government Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 06.08.2019

1. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner along with other eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Cleaner/Attendant cum Watchman arising out the advertisement which was published on 24.11.2011.

2. This Court is of the opinion that writ petition is highly belated and suffers from delay latches. From perusal of the proceedings, it appears that, there have been revised advertisements also published on many occasions, meanwhile the petitioner did not putforth his claim except for making representation periodically. 8 to 9 years is a pretty long time for approaching the Court for getting the

-2relief of appropriate direction for considering his case for appointment.

3. The writ petition, thus suffers from delay and latches and is accordingly stands rejected.
