1. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.144 of 2020, registered at Police Station Basantpur District Balrampur Ramanujganj C.G., for the offences punishable under Section 20(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. As per the prosecution case, applicant was found to be

MCRC No. 7627 of 2020 cultivating 210 cannabis plants in the kitchen garden (baadi) of his house and was also found to be in possession of 860 number of stems and branches of cannabis plant.

3. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Considering the whopping quantity of cannabis plants, stems and branches recovered from the kitchen garden of the applicant's house, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail.
