1. The counsel for the petitioners at the outset submits that he be permitted to make a representation to the respondent no.2 to 5 ventilating their grievances which arises on account of decision of the respondents in merging the 100 Seater Girls Hostel into Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential School.
2. The limited relief is not opposed by the State Counsel.
3. Counsel for the State however submits that as regards the petitioner no.1 is concerned, she is otherwise substantive post holder i.e. lecturer under the respondents and so far as petitioners no.2 to 5 are concerned, they were temporary employees engaged at 100 Seater Girls Hostel.
4. Given the said relief that petitioners seek for, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the petitioners, if they so want, prefer a representation within a period of 10 days to respondents no.2 to 5 and respondents no.2 to 5 in turn are directed to decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law in terms of the policy governing the field.
5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
