Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 25/02/2021 Heard.

1. The applicant has moved this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.48//2020 registered at Police Station- Kunkuri, District- Jashpur, C.G. for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 386, 342, 506-B, 395 & 323 of IPC and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act.

2. As per the prosecution case, the applicant along with co-accused kept the victim in wrongful confinement and demanded Rs.50,000/- by way of extortion. It is also alleged that the victim was kept in confinement because he was found selling beef in an open market.

3. Learned State Counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Admittedly, co-accused Deepchand Ekka and Sandip Ram in MCRC No.6279 of 2020 vide order dated 14.10.2020 and Sanjeev Singh @ Sandeep Singh in MCRC No.8207 of 2020 vide order dated 11.02.2021 have already been released on regular bail by this Court.

5. Considering the release of co-accused Deepchand Ekka, Sandip Ram and

Sanjeev Singh @ Sandeep Singh in similar crime, I am inclined to release the present applicant on bail.

6. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
