By this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed issuance of direction to respondent No.1 to decide the pending appeal filed under Section 403 of the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 on 2.9.2009. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that appeal preferred by them is pending consideration before the State Government and though hearing has taken place time to time, next date fixed for hearing is 12.10.2015, therefore, a writ be issued directing the respondent No.1 to hear & decide the appeal expeditiously. 3.
The appeal preferred by the petitioners is of 2009. The Appellate Authority is directed to hear and decide the appeal expeditiously keeping in
view that appeal is pending since 2009 preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 5.
