By way of this contempt petition, the petitioner prayed for initiation of contempt proceedings against the contemnors/respondents for not complying with the order dated 11.11.2013 (Annexure C/1) passed by this Court. 3.

From perusal of the record, it is clear that immediately after passing of the order dated 11.11.2013 (Annexure C/1) the petitioner had furnished a copy of the same to the concerned authorities on 10.12.2013 and has been kept submitting various representations for necessary compliance of the said order 4.

The present contempt has been filed on 21.12.2016, i.e., much beyond the prescribed period of one year whereas this Court has passed the order on 11.11.2013. Contempt petition should have been filed within the period of limitation prescribed under the law. However, the same has not been done and, instead, the instant contempt petition has been filed in December, 2016, much beyond the

period of limitation.

Consequently, this contempt petition is liable to be and is hereby dismissed in limine.
