Grievance of Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is the inaction on the part of Respondents in not deciding the application for compassionate appointment moved by Petitioner.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that the father of Petitioner was working as Principal in Primary School, Rawanguda, Tahsil Kurud, District Dhamtari and who died in harness on 3.6.2020. Petitioner immediately thereafter moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment but till date the same has not been finalized and decided.

Learned State Counsel submits that in case if the application of Petitioner for compassionate appointment has not yet been decided the same shall be processed in accordance with scheme governing the field at the earliest. 4.

Given the submission by learned State Counsel, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing Respondent No.2 to immediately process the claim of Petitioner and take appropriate decision at the earliest, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
