1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is nonreleasing of the salary payable to the petitioner for the period during which she has discharged her duties on the post of Upper Division Teacher between 01.07.2019 to 30.04.2020.

2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was superannuated w.e.f. 30.06.2019. However, as per the scheme prevailing, the petitioner was continued as a contractual teacher for the remaining portion of the academic session ie., between 01.07.2019 to 30.04.2020. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that for the entire aforesaid period, the petitioner had discharged her duties to

-2the satisfaction of the authorities, however, till date no salary was paid. Only a portion has been released to the petitioner and the petitioner in fact has not been issued with any order of appointment in her favour post retirement.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the learned State counsel submits that let the case of the petitioner be processed by the respondent no. 2 and 3 and take appropriate steps immediately.

4. Given the said submission by the counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition accordingly stands disposed off directing the respondent no. 2 and 3 to immediately take steps and process the claim of the petitioner in-accordance-with the order of contractual appointment made in favour of the petitioner post retirement.

5. Let a decision be taken in this regard within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
