1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.486/2020 registered at Police Station Basna District Mahasamund (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 20(b) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

3. The applicants have been found in possession of 8 Kg 300 gm of

MCRC No. 7843 of 2020 Ganja.

4. Considering that barely 3 months have elapsed after arrest of the applicants, they are not entitled to be released on bail at this stage.

5. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. However, if the trial does not demonstrate sufÏcient progress within next four months, the applicants would at liberty to repeat the prayer immediately thereafter.
