1. This writ petition in the nature of PIL has been preferred by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to construct good quality of service roads which can be used by the traveler till completion of the project. Prayer has also been made to construct proper diverted route for the commuters.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that construction over NH-53 (old NH-6) is going on for the last two years and due to poor maintenance of service roads and poor management of traffic between Durg to Raipur specially within 25 kms stretch commencing from SupelaBhilai till Tatiband, Raipur, large number of accidents have occurred causing death of around 60 innocent persons.

3. Considering the issue raised in the writ petition (PIL), it is disposed of with a direction that in the event, the petitioner submits a representation before the respondents No.2 and 3

within a period of one month from today, the said respondents shall consider the issue and take appropriate remedial measures, in accordance with law.
