1. The petitioner, aggrieved by the impugned order Annexure P-1 dated 04.09.2021 passed by the respondent no.3, has approached this Court. By the impugned order the respondents have published a list of proposed eligible Constables who are entitled for being promoted to the post of Head Constable (Dog Squad).

2. The grievance of petitioner is that he is senior to the private

respondents but his candidature has been ignored by the respondents. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is also similarly placed and belongs to the same category to which the private respondents belong and on that ground also, the petitioner could not have been left out considering his seniority which is over and above the private respondents.

3. The impugned order in this case was issued on 04.09.2021 and the present writ petition has been filed on 17.09.2021. It seems that the petitioner has not even raised an objection or representation in respect of Annexure P-1 before the respondent no.3 and has straightaway come to this Court seeking for an appropriate direction.

4. Given the fact that the petitioner has not approached the respondent Authorities by way of representation/objection in respect of Annexure P-1 dated 04.09.2021, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the respondents 2 & 3 by way of a detailed representation/objection to be filed within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the respondents 2 & 3 in turn are expected to take a decision on the same within an outer limit of 45 days from the date of submission of the representation by the petitioner.
