1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's representation (Annexure P-3) for remaining arrears of salary is pending consideration before the respondent, which may be directed to be considered and decided expeditiously.

2. Be that as it may, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Korba is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's pending representation within two months from today by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The petitioner is at liberty to make an additional representation within three weeks from today. It is made clear this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the matter.

3. With the aforesaid observation / direction, the writ

petition stands finally disposed off. No order as to cost(s).
