1. The limited prayer, which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that against the order dated 06.05.2017 passed by the Chief Municipal Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Dantewada. Against the order of termination of service petitioner has preferred an appeal to the Collector on 15.03.2018 vide Annexure P/3 and the said appeal is still pending consideration before the Collector without any decision and prays that the Collector be suitably directed to take a prompt decision on his appeal.

2. The State counsel does not oppose the limited prayer made by the petitioner.

3. Accordingly the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent No.3 to ensure that Annexure P/3 which is

an appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Collector be decided at the earliest preferably with a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of order of this Court.
