Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is working as a Male Supervisor in the office of Chief Medical and Health Office, Balod and is posted at Sector Karhibhadar, Development Block Balod wherefrom he has been transferred to Sector Mahamaya, Block Daundi, District Balod which is 60 Km. away from the present place of posting.

It is contended that the wife of the petitioner is working at Govt. High School Kohangatola, Block Balod which is only 20 Km. away from the present place of posting of the petitioner. He submits that if the

-2transfer of the petitioner is made effective, the petitioner would suffer irreparable loss as the parents of the petitioner are also dependent upon him. He submits that the petitioner has filed a representation before the respondent no.4.

3. The documents filed along with the petition shows that the wife of the petitioner is also working at Govt. High School Kohangatola, Block Balod which is only 20 Km. away from the present place of posting of the petitioner. As per the transfer policy of the State, normally husband and wife are kept at one place.

Without making any observation on the merits of the case and considering the transfer policy of the State, liberty is given to the petitioner to make a representation to the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted by the State to decide the cases of transfer, within a period of 7 days from today and the Grievance Redressal Committee may decide the same within a further period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the representation. Till then, the transfer in respect of the petitioner shall not be given effect to.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
