The present MCC has been filed seeking condonation of delay in compliance of the order passed by this court on 17.07.2019 in WPS No. 5220 of 2019.

Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the order passed by this court has since been complied with vide order dated 16.01.2020, however the same could not be done within the stipulated period given by this court in the said order. This MCC has been filed explaining the delay.

The counsel for the applicant further submits that he has been informed that non applicants/respondents herein have also filed a Contempt Petition alleging non compliance of the order dated 17.07.2019. Be that as it may, since the applicants have categorically stated that they have in due course of time complied with the directives given by this court as per the order dated 16.01.2020, the necessity for filing of this MCC does not arise at this juncture any further since it already stands complied with. As far as non compliance within the stipulated period is concerned, the applicants would be at liberty to give their explanation in case if this court

issues notice in the Contempt Petition.

With the aforesaid observation, the MCC stands disposed of. The counsel for the applicant is directed to ensure that compliance part of the order passed by this court is duly communicated and served upon the petitioners and also to the counsel for the petitioners. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Inder
