1. Today when the matter is called on for hearing, the counsel for the respondent No.1 referred to Annexure R/3 which is a Panchnama prepared by the respondent No.1, whereby it has been ordered that status quo in respect of disputed property is to be maintained pursuant to the order passed by this High Court in WPC No.523 of 2017. He further makes a submission that as long as the order of the High Court of status quo is in operation, the respondent No.1 does not intend to move further with the proceedings moved by the respondent No.2 for handing over possession of the property.

2. The counsel for the respondent No.2 at this juncture submits that he does not intend to disobey the order of this court under any circumstances.

3. If at all, if the respondent No.2 has any grievance or has any claim, he may approach the competent authority and the concerned court before whom the proceedings are pending in which the interim order has been

passed, and get the order vacated or modified accordingly, and thereafter may proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid submissions made by the counsel for the respondents, this court does not intend to proceed further with the contempt petition. The contempt petition accordingly stands disposed of.

5. It is expected that all the parties to the dispute shall be honouring the majesty of the court when orders are passed.
