2. These are the two applications filed under Section 439 of the

Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.363/2020 registered at Police Station Aarang, District Raipur (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 304 B, 34 of the IPC.

3. At the outset, the applications (IA No.1 in both the MCRCs) for correction in the bail applications, are allowed.

4. Let the amendment be carried out during the course of the day.

5. Applicant Champa Sahu is the mother-in-law and applicant Reena Sahu, is the sister-in-law (Jethani) of deceased Bhaneshwari Sahu, who was married to Ashish Sahu on 17.2.2020. The deceased committed suicide by self-ablaze on 18.7.2020. In the statement of Prahlad and Reena Bai, parents of the deceased, it was revealed to the Police that the present applicants along with husband Ashish Sahu and father-in-law Chetram Sahu were always commenting on the deceased by saying that the articles brought in dowry are local and duplicate. There is no allegation of demand of dowry after the marriage. The allegation is only about branding the articles gifted in the marriage as local or duplicate.

6. Considering the evidence against the applicants and for the fact that the applicants are ladies, aged about 51 years and 29 years respectively, and the charge sheet has already been filed, I am inclined to release them on regular bail.

7. Accordingly, the bail applications are allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
