The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 3/2017 registered in Police Station Ranitarai, District Durg (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 420 of Indian Penal Code.

Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that a report was made by Rati Ram Yadav that in the year 2010 he met the applicant as he was working in the bunglow of Governor. Subsequently, he offered to get person employed in the Accountant General Office. Thereafter, in presence of Riki Yadav and others initially Rs.3.50 lakhs was given. Subsequently, amount of Rs.2.50 lakhs was given on the different dates. Thereafter, few of the persons were kept in the house after taking rent as it was stated that order will take some time, however eventually job was not provided. Thereby offence has been committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the case, for the incident alleged to have been
in 2010 the applicant has not committed any offence, it was out of monetary transaction of agreement of sale, false allegations have been attributed, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.
Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.
Perused the statement of witnesses Rati Ram Yadav, Riki Ram Yadav and Basant Kumar. Considering such statement, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail.
