1. The grievance of the petitioners in this petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in regularizing the services of the petitioner.
2. The claim of the counsel for the petitioners is that petitioners were working under the respondents as daily wage employees since July 2016 to November 2019 and the petitioners have put in more than 2 to 5 years of service and therefore the authorities concerned should consider regularizing the services of the petitioners in accordance with law at the earliest.
3. The counsel for the petitioners submits that the writ petition at this juncture may be disposed of directing the respondents to consider and to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioners for regularization at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. It is ordered accordingly.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The authorities would be free to take a decision on the claim of the petitioners purely in accordance with rules and regulations governing the field.
