1. The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is for grant of two advance increments for having undergone the family planning scheme.

2. The contention of the petitioners is that similarly situated persons in the department have already been granted the benefit, however, in-spite of all representations, the claim of the petitioners have not been decided by the authorities.

3. The learned State counsel submits that since their claim is still pending consideration before the authorities, let the writ petition be disposed off directing the authorities for taking an appropriate decision at the earliest.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent no. 2 to 4 to take an appropriate decision on the representations so made by the petitioners at the earliest, preferably within a period of ninety days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. Petitioners in addition are also directed to make fresh representations to the respondents supporting with all relevant documents, circular in support on their contentions.
