1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to ensure that the order passed vide Annexure P-1 dated 30.09.2020 in an election petition and the appeal of which also stood rejected vide Annexure P-2 dated 21.10.2020 be acted upon.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has verified from the Registry

of this High Court that there is no writ petition challenging the order passed by the Collector and therefore, he wants the decision taken by the Collector as also by the Election Tribunal be implemented at the earliest.

3. Shri Raghvendra Verma, learned State counsel submits that since the petitioner has already filed a representation vide Annexure P-3 to the District Collector, the same shall be decided at the earliest.

4. Without entering into the merits of the case, as has been submitted by Shri Verma, learned state counsel, the writ petition is being disposed of directing the respondent authorities to take a decision on the representation that the petitioner has filed. The concerned authorities shall ensure that in the event of Annexures P-1 & P-2 not being subjected to challenge any further, the same be executed/implemented at the earliest.
