1. The limited grievance of petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not considering the claim of petitioner for promotion from the post of Revenue Sub-Inspector to the post of Revenue Inspector.

2. The contention of petitioner is that his claim has already been considered by the Municipal Council vide resolution dated 18.03.2021 and the respondent no.5 has also recommended the claim of petitioner to be considered and for necessary sanction and approval from the State Govt..

3. Given the said facts, let the respondents 2 & 3 take an appropriate decision on the claim of petitioner pending consideration before them at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
